the density of the cirrus clouds makes this picture so heavy..i like how compact it feels even though there is so much space. beautifully done and the rich colouring is captured so well. i feel so lazy and comfortable looking at this pic : )

Critiques
Not sure if I am the most qualified person to provide a critique, but I will do my best.
From my point of view, this is a beautiful capture and the title is perfect for the composition, which delivers the sensation of warm emptiness and space that allows you to breath deep.
The way the light is distributed allows more sun on certain areas, accentuating the natural curves and the depth of field of the landscape. The soil next to the bottom margin shows a great texture and sharp focus, very attractive to look at.
I guess that the blackness on the trees to the left was provided by the clouds not letting the sun shine on them. I like the effect. I would have liked to be able to see a bit more of their silhouettes. But again, that might not have been possible due to the behaviour of the natural light, or maybe the trees are so close together that they build a wall where the light would not be able to shine through. That darkness kind of brings balance to the black tree areas on the right, placing the attention focus on the middle, where the landscape extends in beautiful caramels, yellows and greens.
The clouds are magnificent in their apparent closeness to the land, to a point where they seem to touch the horizon.
I like it !
